Part 2 of the baby shower story

Well yesterday i did not have time to finish the post on my baby shower, sorry!!! So here is the conclusion to that.

As i was saying Colinda set the whole thing up with a little help from Kristen her brothers girlfriend, and they really did a great job as you can see from the pictures. We had a nice turn out it was just family. My mom, jasons mom and sister, my granny and colindas mom, it was really nice and intimate. I loved every aspect of it. They did this one game where i was blindfolded and had to change the diaper on a teddy bear. I was thinking to myself ok no prob here i can handle this!!! Well as you can imagine, nothing is ever as it seems........as soon as i started to change the diaper they started squirting me with a water gun!!! It was absolutely Hilarious!!!! Me being the trooper i am continued to change the diaper with no prob, yea me !!

Surprise baby shower.....

So this is a really over due blog, but seeing as how I really just started blogging here it is.

I went home to Georgia the first week in July to spend time with my oldest son Alex for his summer vacation. While there the pretty blode above (who has been my best friend for 28 years) had decided to throw me a Surprise Baby Shower !!! How sweet is that? I mean really I am soooo Blessed to have a friend like that!!!

MINI ME???

So last night I call and talk to my son Alex ( he lives in GA with his dad), it was his first day back to school and i wanted to know how the day went. So I asked him how was the first day back? "Well I had a really horrible day today!!!" I said I'm sorry to hear that son, what happened to make your day so bad? " WELL to start off with I had to wait an hour on my bus to get here!!!!" I said sorry to hear that, what eles happened? Well that was pretty much it. IT was all i could do not to burst out in laughter. I mean if you know me, you know I am not a morning person, and you also know that the tiniest thing will set me off some days ESPECIALLY if it happens first thing in the morning, IT WILL ruin my entire day!!! So to hear that from my 10 year old, and it being so close to something i would say or how i would react to the same situation, is just so funny to me..........It really is crazy how much our offspring can be sooo much like us or so unlike us........I personally love it, needless to he is not a morning person either, never has been, never will be, JUST LIKE ME !!!! lol I love it , I love my mini me !!!!

So it seems to me that everyone today is crabby crabby crabby!!! Which when you are already a little bit on the hormonal side and have no patience left whatsoever just makes life that much more unbearable, and makes me that more likely to nut up
